Shands is seeking two seasoned and resourceful fundraising professionals to assume the position of Director of Development for its Cancer Hospital and main UF Shands Medical Center.  Reporting to the Senior Director of Major Gifts, the Director of Development assists in planning and implements a comprehensive major gifts program which will result in achieving fundraising and campaign goals and objectives through cultivation and solicitation of individuals.

The Shands development program is relatively new and promises great opportunities to excel. The ideal candidates will bring five (DoD) to ten+ (SDMG) years of development experience and a demonstrated history of successful major gift leadership in an academic medical center.  Nominations and expressions of interest may be sent confidentially to:
