Senior Planned Giving Officer

 
The Senior Planned Giving Officer is responsible for the oversight, coordination, and strategy development for the solicitation of planned giving prospects and existing donors who are at various stages of their relationship with the hospital.  S/he will identify, cultivate, solicit, close, and steward planned gifts, as well as outright gifts.  Travel throughout the year may be required. Qualifications: BA/BS with a minimum of 8 years of experience in fundraising, ideally with a minimum of 5 years in planned giving, as well as a proven track record of soliciting and closing gifts of $100,000 and above, are required.  The ideal candidate would have a comprehensive understanding of planned giving, fundraising principles and practices; extensive knowledge of estate/tax laws and incentives concerning deferred gifts; familiarity with PGCalc Planned Giving Software; the ability to innovate, think strategically and conceptually, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
