Senior Major Gifts Officers

Children’s Hospital Boston, the nation’s leading pediatric clinical and research center, seeks two Senior Major Gifts Officers (Sr. MGO). The Sr. MGO manages a portfolio of 175 prospects capable of making $50K+ gifts.  With the successful completion of its campaign in 2005, Children’s has invested in six visionary, interdisciplinary initiatives for clinical care and disease prevention.

Working closely with world-renowned doctors and researchers, key volunteers and hospital leadership, the Sr. MGO develops and executes complex, individualized strategies to secure gifts that will fund the hospital’s cutting-edge work.  One Sr. MGO reports to the Senior Director of Principal Gifts, the other to the Senior Director of Major Gifts.

Candidates should have 7+ years of development experience, including strength soliciting and closing 5- and 6-figure gifts, and a strong desire to advance Children’s mission.
