Director of Foundation Relations and Government Grants
Boston Medical Center (BMC), the academic medical center located in Boston’s historic South
End, seeks a Director of Foundation Relations and Government Grants
to join the BMC development team. As one of the fastest growing
not-for-profit organizations in the Greater Boston area, Boston Medical
Center raised $27.5
million in its 2007 fiscal year, and is projecting to exceed $40 million
in fiscal year 2008. As part of the senior management team and
reporting directly to the Vice President of Development, the new
Director will play a critical role in overseeing all fundraising
activities related to foundations and the local, state, and federal
governments in support of the many Departments and Programs at
Boston
Medical
Center. Fundraising professionals with
a minimum of 7-10 years of development experience, including foundation
relations, and with a commitment to mentoring and managing staff are
