The Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF) seeks an entrepreneurial
fundraiser as National Director of Development (NDOD).
Founded in 1998, the MMRF is the world’s number-one multiple myeloma
research funder, having raised
almost $100 million to fund leading researchers and laboratories
worldwide. Ninety-five
cents on every dollar of its $28 million budget is directed to research
and programming.
Its recently initiated $50 Million Research
Funding Campaign will enable dramatic growth over the next five years.
The NDOD will provide fundraising leadership, planning and
strategy during this and future campaigns, build a comprehensive
development department, and supervise a staff of seven.
Qualified candidates: 10+ years’ relevant experience, proven major gifts
success; entrepreneurial spirit; ability to motivate others.
Salary comparable to an Associate Vice President at a college or
university. National travel
is expected.
