Massachusetts General Hospital, Manager, Donor Relations

Working collaboratively as a member of the Development team, the Donor Relations Manager is responsible for the continued expansion and integration of donor relations across Development units to ensure timely ongoing contact with donors.  Responsibilities will include initiating and implementing cultivation, recognition and communication strategies to keep donors informed and engaged to inspire continued and increased support.  S/he will identify continuous improvement opportunities to enhance overall donor relations program effectiveness.  S/he will supervise a donor relations staff of two to help achieve these efforts. 

Qualifications: BA/BS and 5+ years of successful stewardship, alumni relations, and or major gift experience are required.  Management experience; exceptional interpersonal, oral and written communication skills are also required.  The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to quality work and customer service, the ability to take initiative, excellent attention to detail and good follow-through skills.
