  We offer behavioral health, crisis, home health and hospice services for children & adults through Maine communities.

RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT (RD) MANAGER
Bangor, Maine

Community Health and Counseling Services is seeking a Resource Development (RD) Manager. Primary duties will include directing: all individual, annual, corporate, and planned giving; capital campaigns; research and development for foundation, state and federal grant proposals; related budget development and oversight responsibilities; and assisting those who are working on fund-raising special events.
  The Manager works with the executive management team to provide leadership and set priorities for RD, and supports the Board RD Committee.
Home health and hospice services along with adult, child, and family mental health and crisis services provide a wide range of assistance to individuals and families in seven counties through this long-standing Agency, founded in 1883.
  The RD Manager will need to articulately and enthusiastically represent Agency values and programs in a variety of forums.  Excellent speaking, listening, and writing skills are essential, including proposal writing.

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a business, public administration or a related field and five years progressive experience in state of the art RD programs, particularly in non-profit environments.
  Demonstrated ability to work with a broad spectrum of volunteers and donors.  Travel between office locations required.
