THE ORGANIZATION:
Memorial Hospital blends medical expertise and technology with a genuine concern for people. The hospital provides a full range of acute and long-term care services to the residents of Mt. Washington Valley and nearby communities in New Hampshire and Maine. Services include emergency medicine, cardiac services, a family birthing center, ICU/critical care and medical/surgical units, laboratory services, oncology/infusion services, orthopedics, radiology/imaging, rehabilitation services, women’s health, a diabetes center and surgical services. The 25 bed Hospital has critical access status and employs 460 people. In order to ensure a full continuum of health care services for the surrounding communities, the organization also consists of MWV Healthcare, Inc., the employed physician practice; White Mountain Community Health Center; Carroll County Health & Home Care Services; the Visiting Nurse & Hospice Care Services of Northern Carroll County; and Merriman House, a 45-bed nursing facility. In addition to a population base of 47,000 residents, the hospital provides care to the many area visitors, summer vacationers, skiers, hikers, and other sports enthusiasts.

Lahey Clinic (Burlington, MA)

Lahey Clinic seeks an individual who will be instrumental in rebuilding and strengthening its pipeline of donors in preparation for a campaign that will begin in the next 2-3 years. Working closely with prospect research, the annual fund staff, and the major gifts team, the philanthropy officer will work with a pool of prospects to qualify donors and devise strategies to become acquainted with them and engage their engagement with Lahey Clinic.

D’Youville Senior Care Foundation

This position contributes to D’Youville Senior Care’s mission to deliver the premier services to seniors from Greater Lowell by supporting the Foundation’s philanthropic efforts. This position is responsible for handling the entire gift receipt processing including, gift entry, acknowledging donors, maintaining accurate donor records, running reports within our fundraising db and Quickbooks to generate month end reports.

Massachusetts General Hospital

This position will collaborate with physicians, scientists, staff, and high-level volunteers on fund-raising initiatives that support all aspects of cardiac care, research and teaching. She/he will focus on identifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding donors to support the goals of what is likely to be a $150 million plus campaign specifically for the MGH Heart and Vascular Centers. She/he will be responsible for building a pipeline of new prospects for the campaign, and will maintain an individual prospect portfolio of 125-150 active prospects.

The DOD will create a sustainable fundraising program in support of The Harris Center’s mission dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with eating disorders. She/he will be responsible for the oversight and implementation of strategic and operating plans, as well as overseeing the development budgeting process and meeting budget targets. She/he will build on current fundraising initiatives to achieve annual needs of $500,000 to $1 million; and will grow the overall fundraising program to support expanded programming initiatives.

Reporting to the Director of the MGH Fund, this position will work with administrative leadership and development colleagues to identify opportunities for major gift support of $1,000 or more, and plan and execute cultivation, solicitation and stewardship activities. S/he will be responsible for the oversight, coordination, and strategy development for solicitation of major gift prospects and donors for the MGH Fund.
